Procedure to check if postings are happening in Delta Queue – LBWQ tcode
1. Log in into R/3 System
2. In R/3 you can check RSA7 queue (run tcode RSA7):
If you see TOTAL column with ZERO records, it is because queues are cleaned. Meaning, data has been successfully loaded into BW. But it does not mean we are fine. Please follow steps below as we may get data being processed or waiting to be transferred to RSA7.
3. To be safe, while running the loads to clean up above queue, monitor LBWQ (RFC Outbond queue, which is the queue that feeds RSA7). Accessing LBWQ you will get the RFC monitor for the delta queues (postings that are happening online/or pending to be transferred into RSA7 queue). Check below screen shot of LBWQ:
If you see Queues name listed as above, it is because there are records pending to be transferred to RSA7. We need to clean up it! Let´s take one example: MCEX03 - Inventory Controlling
3.1 To get details on what is pending to be transferred, double click in MCEX03 queue above, you will get the following:
3.2 Double click into above queue again, you will get the details on what data/user is being processed or pending:
NOTE: You can check above which is the user making processing. Take the user ID, go to tcode SUIM (screen shot below) , get his details (name) and try to contact him directly and ask him to log out and stop Postings.
SUIM tcode, select “user by address data” and then cc his ID into “user” field.
3.3In order to successfully process the data from LBWQ to RSA7 and then to BW, We need to do the following: ( ex : MCEX03 - Inventory Controlling as example):
3.3.1 After you ensured user is kick out and there is no more processing, we need to manually transfer this data to RSA7 queue. Run program RMBWV303 (SE38) – If you run this program on line, all data pending in this queue will be transferred to RSA7, which means it will get ready to be loaded into BW.
3.3.1.1 NOTE: Below is the list of delta V3 queues and its respective name/ program:
02: Purchasing (program name: RMBWV302) |
03: Inventory Controlling (RMBWV303) |
04: Shop Floor Control (RMBW304) |
05: Quality Management (RMBWV305) |
08: Shipment (RMBWV308) |
11: SD Sales (RMBWV311) |
12: Shipping (RMBWV312) |
13: Billing (RMBWV313) |
17: Plant Maintenance (RMBWV317) |
18: Customer Service BW (RMBWV318) |
3.3.2 After data has been transferred to RSA7, now it needs to get loaded into BW. We need to run the respective info package to load it, in this case extractor 2LIS_03_BF.
4. Repeat the same exercise above for all the queues showing up data in LBWQ until there is nothing to be transferred to RSA7, and nothing from RSA7 to BW.

Nice doc.
ReplyDeleteVery useful document. Thanks
ReplyDeleteIs LBWQ still relevant in case we are using ODP source where RSA7 is replaced with ODQMON.
